Florida Panthers Assistant General Manger Randy Sexton announced today the hiring of Craig Slaunwhite as the club new strength and conditioning coach. He replaces Andy O who left the Panthers to purse a new opportunity as the director of high performance at the Edge School in Calgary. <br />is a young, energetic and progressive individual who already has a working relationship with some of our current players. We look forward to him joining our team, said Sexton. entire Panthers organization would like to thank Andy for his four years of service to our team and wish him the best in his future endeavors. <br />Slaunwhite joins the Panthers organization after serving as a personal trainer in Toronto, Ontario for elite athletes participating in various sports. He has worked extensively with both National Hockey League and American Hockey League players, creating specialized strength and conditioning programs. Additionally, he completed two internships prior to graduating from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), working at the CMCC school clinic, as well as the Sherbourne Health Center. Slaunwhite also served as the onfield medical trainer and strength and conditioning coach for the Ontario Soccer Association. <br />Most recently, Slaunwhite completed a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in June 2009 and also earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University in 2003. <br />Sunrise Sports Entertainment is the premier company of its kind in South Florida.
